Midnight Sun Safari from Henningsvær

The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon in the Arctic and Antarctic Circle that attracts locals and tourists alike. During summers, the sun never sets in this region, and the days last for weeks and months. You can witness the beauty of Lofoten at night by booking the Midnight Sun Safari by Lofoten Opplevelser.

The trip begins at 9:45 pm at Henningsvær, from where participants will be taken to the starting point of the RIB tour. After a brief introduction to the trip, participants will be given wind and waterproof life jackets. From here, everyone will board the RIB boat and embark on a journey through narrow straits to the open sea.

Gaze at breathtaking sceneries as the golden sun illuminates them at the peak of the night. On this midnight sun cruise trip, there is also a chance to encounter sea eagles, puffins, and seals, and if luck is on your side, you may also see the mighty whales. After spending a good time at sea, all participants will return to the starting point.
