Join us for an unforgettable experience on the Alta River, where packrafting and riverboat cruising combine to create a true Arctic adventure. Together with Sorrisniva, you’ll get to explore the majestic Alta River from two different perspectives—from a traditional riverboat and from your own packraft.

As you travel down the river, the trip alternates between lively rapids and calm stretches where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery around you.

Keep an eye out for wildlife along the riverbank—if you’re lucky, you might spot a moose, an eagle, or a salmon. Along the way, we’ll stop at the riverbank, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by the Arctic wilderness.

This experience is perfect for anyone looking for an active day close to nature on one of Norway’s most iconic salmon rivers.

This activity requires a normal level of physical fitness and is not recommended for young children, people who do not feel comfortable in the water, or people with limited mobility.
