Sea Eagle Safari

Did you know over 20 percent of the world's sea eagles reside in Norway, especially in Bodø/ Salten? Picture being amidst the sea, and the mighty sea eagle dives into the water a few meters away. Exciting, isn't it? Experience this and more when you book a sea eagle safari with Explore Salten.

The RIB tour begins with an hour-long RIB excursion in the Bodø archipelago. The journey involves searching and scouting for sea eagles in areas where they are more likely to appear.

Since the eagle is a wild animal, it is not certain that it will appear, but the guides are acquainted with the region and have discovered a few of its nests and other dwellings. To increase the likelihood of a miraculous encounter with this magnificent creature, the guides plan to bring along a little treat that the eagle enjoys.

Children below 6 years cannot join this trip. The organizers can tailor this trip, so contact them to add dining and other activities.
