Sled Dog Adventures: Evening tour with our dogs and a night in our cosy guesthouse

Imagine feeling the cool arctic wind on your face as you ride a husky-driven sled across the Norwegian-Russian border. If this thought excites you, join BIRK for an unforgettable evening tour with dogs and a night in a charming guesthouse. Go on a Northern Lights chase, meet adorable huskies and spend the night at a cosy guest house.

Guests will meet their guide at BIRK and will be taken to the location of the tour. Your guide will brief you on how to ride a husky sled and provide all the necessary safety information. Guests can then board the sled with a fellow rider and embark on a Northern Lights chase. Participants will share their time riding the sled with their fellow guests. This tour will offer you an opportunity to ride sleds for 10–20 kilometres across the winter landscape, depending on snow and weather conditions.

After the sled ride, you will put the dogs back in their kennels and head to a Sami lavvu. Participants will be served a delicious dinner and can spend time interacting with other guests. If you like to use the transfer for the tours, you can spend time at the tour organiser's guesthouse. You will be served breakfast and escorted back to Kirkenes the following day.
