Take a tour of the Dora submarine bunker and the surrounding complex—get a unique insight into the history of the occupation

The Kriegsmarinewerft Drontheim was one of Germany's most important naval bases outside Germany. The area covered half a square kilometer from the mouth of the Nidelva River to Ladehammeren. On the walk, we’ll go through the Torpedo Hall from one end of Dora to the other. We’ll also take a look at several of the other buildings from the war that are still standing, such as the Boiler House, the Carpentry Shop, and Dora II.

  • Experience the inside of the Dora submarine bunker

The route is about 1.8 km long, but has no inclines and is easily accessible, even for wheelchair users.

  • Join us and explore Trondheim’s most important cultural heritage sites from the Occupation!
  • You are eligible to receive a full refund of the booking amount if you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

The exhibitions covers three floors and includes a grand hall used for conferences and lectures.
