On this tour we will take you on a minibus trip around the fjords of the island of Kvaløya, nearby Tromsø. And enjoy a nice lunch on Sommarøy island.
Start your tour at the meeting point in Tromsø, then travel west by minibus across the bridge to Kvaløya. Follow a scenic route through fjord landscapes, crossing 3 fjords and the valley of Kattfjordeidet, with short stops along the way for photos and time to enjoy the arctic nature.
Keep an eye out for reindeer and other animals that sometimes roam freely in the area. Continue to Sommarøy, known as the Summer Island, where you will enjoy a warm lunch inside Sommarøy Arctic Hotel.
After lunch, return along the south-east coast of Kvaløya, taking in views of the sound and the mountains of Malangen from the road. The tour ends back at the original meeting point after approximately 5.5 hours.
