Hunting the Arctic Light at Sea

Join Cool Cabin host and boatdriver Vebjørn on a evening boat trip in our archipelago - searching for the beautiful arctic summer light. We head out from Sandhornøy and will enjoy the area around Femris, Fugløya, Fleina and Arnøya.

Some highlights about the way to the North - Norway - will be told, as we are sailing around the Nor-Way sea lane. And it truly is another perspective to enjoy the view of the landscape from the sea!

Whether it is the midnight sun season or it's shoulder season, we may have the luck to explore the most beautiful arctic evening light. You may even want to take a swim, as we are sailing by sheltered, hidden beaches. We will have some fishing equipment available, if You would like to test your fishing luck on the way back.

Weather conditions may guide our choices as to where to sail and what to do during our time at sea together. However, with our sailing dresses available there are few limitations as to temperatur and precipitation. But anyway, bring along proper clothing and shoes for the day.
