Depart Tromsø by bus and enjoy a scenic 90-minute drive to the secluded Tamokdalen valley, home to a traditional Sami wilderness camp. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your guide and provided with thermal clothing to stay warm throughout the evening.
Learn about the Sami way of life through engaging stories and traditions before meeting and feeding the reindeer. As night falls, the open skies of Tamokdalen offer a great opportunity to observe the northern lights in a calm and natural setting away from the city lights.
After the outdoor activities, return to Camp Tamok to warm up by the fire inside a cozy lávvu (Sami tent). Enjoy a hearty meal and hot drink while taking in the serene Arctic atmosphere before heading back to Tromsø with lasting memories of your cultural evening.
