Experience Arctic dog sledding in the soft midday light of Northern Norway. Learn the basics of mushing and enjoy a warm treat in a Sami tent after your sled ride.
Meet at Tromsø Havn Prostneset and head out on a 50-minute drive to Breivikeidet Valley. Upon arrival, get suited up in insulated gear and listen as your guide explains how to safely drive your sled.
Each sled is shared by two people who alternate between mushing and relaxing as a passenger. The tour takes you across scenic fields and quiet forest paths, with the sledding part lasting about 65 minutes depending on snow and weather.
After the ride, enjoy a traditional Arctic atmosphere inside a lavvo, where you can warm up by the fire with hot drinks and cake before heading back to Tromsø.
