Tømmervika is the perfect starting point for Seakayaking and experiences at the coast of Helgeland. This guided tour offers scenic nature, birdlife, and insight into local coastal history.
Discover the sheltered coastal waters between Offersøy and Tjøtta by Seakayak or check other starting points in our schedule. Guidet tours lasts 4 or 5 hours.
You will paddle through calm, protected waters well suited for beginners and families. The route includes beach stops for breaks and stories about the area's fishing and farming heritage.
The exact route is adapted to weather and the group’s experience level. All necessary gear is provided, and you’ll receive a safety briefing and basic instruction before setting out. Along the way, there's a chance to spot sea eagles, seals, porpoises, or even moose onshore.
Tours are held in small groups for a relaxed and safe experience. The pace is calm, with time to enjoy the surroundings.

Wear wool or fleece base layers, warm socks, and bring food, water, towel, and a dry change of clothes. Suitable for beginners and families with children from around 6 years and up. Groups from 2 to 10 participants; advance booking required. Starting point: Tømmervika, Offersøy–Tjøtta area if no other places at Helgeland coast are announced.
