Tour with the fishing boat Havung – Coastal experiences from Nesna

Havung is a 52-foot traditional fishing boat built in 1972 and now preserved and maintained by the heritage society.

Options include fishing, beach cleanups, or tours to historic coastal communities like Lurøy, Lovund, Træna, Sandnessjøen, Dønna, and Herøy. Each journey offers insight into everyday life along Norway’s coast—past and present.

Departure is at 10:00 from the harbour in Nesna. Please arrive in good time. Available on Saturdays year-round, and on Wednesdays from April to September. Duration is approximately 3 hours. Subject to weather conditions. Booking must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Food is not included in the price. Guests may bring their own food or catch, or request catering from a local restaurant at an extra charge.
