Capture the Northern Lights on this guided evening trip to a fixed mountain location. Includes snowshoe hike, transport, warm drinks, and tips on photographing the aurora.

Experience the Arctic winter on a guided evening tour into the snowy mountains, where chances of seeing the Northern Lights are high. After hotel pickup, you’ll be driven to a scenic location outside Mo i Rana. Equipped with snowshoes, you’ll walk a short distance through the crisp snow, under a sky full of stars.

Once at the campfire hut, your guide will help light a fire and share stories about the aurora borealis and its history. Enjoy a hot coffee or tea and a small snack as you wait for the lights to appear. You'll also receive simple, practical tips on how to take great pictures of the Northern Lights, with camera tripods available to borrow.

This area experiences aurora activity up to 100 nights each winter, making it a great spot to experience this natural phenomenon — even far south of Tromsø.
