Spectacular RIB safari and insightful experience in aquaculture and salmon production by the beautiful Hardangerfjord by Hardanger Adventure.
A fjord safari by RIB through dramatic fjord landscapes, including a visit to the Hardanger Akvasenter, where you can taste delicious salmon produced in the Hardangerfjord, served with local cider or apple juice.
The tour begins with a visit to the digital exhibition at Hardanger Akvasenter in Øystese, followed by a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) journey into the spectacular fjord arm Fyksesund, located mid-way in the Hardangerfjord. Fyksesund is visually stunning, with steep 1000-meter-high cliffs – a place where you will feel as if you are in another world. Along the way, we will make several stops close to the shore among Fyksesund's countless waterfalls and learn about the history of life along the fjord.
On the way back to Øystese, we will visit Hardanger Akvasenter's viewing center, where you will get an introduction to salmon farming in practice and taste delicious local salmon along with local apple juice or cider. The return trip takes us by RIB via Kvamsøy and Tjuvaholmen back to Øystese.
