Explore the breathtaking Fyksesund fjord arm, the narrowest part of Hardangerfjord, on a private RIB safari combined with a hike to a hidden viewpoint with Hardanger Adventure.
The tour begins with a thrilling RIB ride through the fjord, surrounded by towering 1,000-meter cliffs. Your guide will stop along the way to share fascinating stories about the fjord and its roadless village, Botnen. You'll also experience the spray of cascading waterfalls as we get up close to nature.
At the end of Fyksesund, we land in Botnen, a secluded village with over 400 years of history. From there, we embark on a 2-km hike through the cultural landscape to the "Furehaugen" viewpoint, 180 meters above sea level. This hidden gem offers stunning panoramic views of the fjord and Botnen – a spot rarely visited by outsiders.
After enjoying the views and capturing unforgettable moments, we return to the fjord and head back by RIB, taking in the incredible scenery one last time. Perfect for families, friends, or colleagues, this unique adventure combines history, nature, and adrenaline for an unforgettable experience in one of Norway’s most beautiful fjord landscapes.
