Enjoy this special part of the Nordmarka forest. Unleash your inner adventurer and experience the unparalleled beauty of Norwegian forest on a hiking tour to Skjennungstoppen.

Our adventure begins at the Tiger Statue outside the Oslo Visitor Centre at Jernbanetorget. We'll take a scenic train ride to Frognerseteren station, where our hike begins. Enjoy the stunning views as the train winds through the hills, setting the stage for our journey.

We start our hike through a lush green forest, heading towards the majestic Skjennungstoppen mountain. The trail offers a mix of challenging terrain and peaceful pathways, perfect for experiencing the Norwegian wilderness. At the summit, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Keep an eye out for wildlife such as foxes, beavers, moose, deer, eagles, and hares. We’ll take breaks at traditional cabins, Skjennungenstua and Ullevålseter, where you can enjoy fresh pastries and coffee. We’ll also visit the geographic center of Oslo, located in the forest.

Our hike ends at the picturesque Sognsvann Lake. From there, we’ll take the metro back to the city, concluding our journey at Jernbanetorget.
