It's hard to beat a good walk by a peaceful lake in the woods. Add warming up by a cozy fire afterwards and you've got the perfect match! Enjoy nature as locals do!

This tour is the best way to experience how locals enjoy nature - and our expert guides know how to do it right!

The tour starts at in the city center near the tiger statue at Jernbanetorget. We then will take a train to Sognsvann - an idyllic lake surrounded by green forest. Norway is known for its perfectly working public transportation which can take you to hidden nature gems and best spots to enjoy nature. Just 20 minutes from Oslo and you are practically in the center of wilderness where the magical forest is saved as it was centuries ago.

Walk in the forest is followed by a campfire. By a peaceful lake in the woods, you get to learn how to make fire in the wild. We can talk about Norwegian outdoor food traditions, local life or other topics. You will also have a chance to taste some of the most "Norwegian" food every local enjoys from time to time! You will also get a Norwegian chocolate - something everyone has in their backpack when hiking in Norway.

After the cozy barbecue we will take a short train ride, and be back in the city center at two hours later.
