Pleasant forest walk to the famous Holmenkollen ski jump, the heart of Norwegian skiing. Our guide will show you some beautiful views in a part of Oslo rarely seen by tourists.

Your journey begins outside Backstube Opera cafe, just next to the Central Station, where you’ll meet your local guide. Together, you'll board the metro to Frognerseteren, where the adventure begins. Even before the hike starts, the breathtaking views from the subway ride up the hill will already make the trip worthwhile—be sure to capture the moments with your camera!

As you hike, you’ll pass the serene Lillevann Lake, then make your way down to the charming Frognerseteren restaurant. The trail follows part of a 50-kilometer route, including a historic toboggan run from the first Luge World Championship in 1955. You’ll continue past Midtstubakken and down to the beautiful Holmenkollen Chapel. The grand finale and the highlight of this tour is without doubt the majestic Holmenkollen ski jump — one of the most famous sport arenas in the world.

After taking in the awe-inspiring sights, you’ll stroll back down to the metro station and return to Jernbanetorget, where your adventure began.
