Discover iconic viewpoints in Oslo with a scenic hike to the Vettakollen summit, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city, Oslo fjord, and surrounding areas.

Our journey begins at the bustling Jernbanetorget outside the Oslo Visitor Centre. From here, we'll board the Frognerseteren metro line for a scenic train ride with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Arriving at Frognerseteren station, we'll embark on a leisurely hike through lush green forests and along serene lakes, rumored to be home to the mythical Huldra.

We'll pause at DNT Fuglemyrhytta, a cozy cabin shelter, before continuing to the highlight of our adventure – the summit of Vettakollen mountain. Here, you'll be rewarded with overwhelming views of Oslo, the fjord, and its idyllic coastline dotted with small islands. Capture the moment with photos and breathe in the crisp, fresh air.

After soaking in the views, we'll make our way back to the metro station and end our trip at Jernbanetorget. Whether you're an avid hiker or a nature lover, this hike offers a unique perspective of Oslo's beauty and is a must-do experience.
