Embark on an unforgettable 2-hour journey through Alta Fjord, where you'll experience the thrill of capturing and holding a live red king crab. Begin your adventure at Fiskerihavna in Alta, where you'll meet your captain and receive safety gear, including warm coveralls and life jackets for colder days.
You'll then head to the king crab fields, where the crew expertly uses a box-shaped trap, called a "pot," to catch the impressive red king crabs. Once the crabs are safely onboard, you'll have the unique opportunity to hold one and snap some amazing photos as souvenirs of your adventure.

- You are eligible to receive a full refund of the booking amount if you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Additional Information
- The tour starts from Fiskerihavna in Alta. You must arrive 15 minutes before departure. At the meeting point, you will be provided with warm boilersuits (in cold weather) and life jackets. Once everyone is ready, you will board the boat with the captain.
Policy on Rescheduling Tours Due to Weather Conditions

If adverse weather conditions occur at the time and date of a booked tour, you have the option to either cancel the tour with a full refund or reschedule it to a new date.

Should you choose to reschedule rather than cancel, and a new date and time are agreed upon between you and the captain, this new arrangement becomes binding. If you does not attend the tour at the rescheduled date and time, the original booking remains valid, and payment for the tour will still be required in full.

If you are late for the tour, the boat will wait max 10 minutes after the tour's starting time and then leave for the tour. You will then be reported as a no-show and not eligible for a refund.
